Toyota Corolla Center Caps — 57 mm vs 62 mm Generation Split
The Corolla is the cleanest example on this site of why "what cap fits my car?" is the wrong question. The right question is "what cap fits my car's generation?" — because Toyota changed the answer mid-model.
2009–2013 Corolla: 57 mm
Tenth-generation Corollas commonly list a 57 mm OD center cap. If your Corolla is from this run and a listing promises you the later cap, walk away.
2014+ Corolla and 2012+ Camry: 62 mm
The next Corolla generation moved to a 62 mm OD cap — the same size commonly listed for the 2012+ Camry. Five millimetres bigger, completely incompatible with the 57 mm wheel opening. Same badge, same showroom, two caps that cannot swap.
Why splits like this happen
A new generation means new wheel designs, and caps are designed for wheels, not nameplates. Trim-level wheel options can split sizes within a generation too, which is why we publish these numbers as "commonly listed" and not as gospel.
And a caution for Toyota truck shoppers: Land Cruiser hub bores (106 mm on the J120, 106.5 mm on the J90) are wheel-fitment specs, not cap sizes — don't let a bore figure talk you into a cap order. See Center Bore vs Center Cap Diameter.
