Mitsubishi Center Cap Sizes — 60 mm Listed, Outlander Varies
Mitsubishi is the honest "it depends" of Japanese fitment. Marketplace listings commonly show 60 mm caps for the brand — but the Outlander, its best-selling nameplate, is reported at 65–70 mm varying by year and wheel. Two published ranges for one brand means the brand badge settles nothing; your wheel settles everything.
Work it in this order
- Part number first. Read the molding on the back of a surviving cap and search the full number.
- Measure second. OD across the face, ID across the clip tips, clip depth from the base of the cap to the clip tips.
- Wheel opening last. Cap lost entirely? Measure the opening in the wheel itself — our wheel-opening method walks through it.
The 65–70 mm Outlander range comes from a marketplace FAQ rather than a factory document, and we publish it labelled exactly that way: reported, variable, measure. A listing that quotes one Outlander size for all years is tidier than the truth.
