The Measure-First Brands — Buick, Chrysler, Lincoln, Infiniti, Genesis, Fiat
Every brand page on this site follows one rule: a size appears only when a source backs it. For Buick, Chrysler, Lincoln, Infiniti, Genesis and Fiat, our research found no cap diameter we could honestly publish — Fiat's 500, for example, has a well-documented 4×98 bolt pattern and no sourced cap diameter at all. So these brands get something more useful than a guessed number: the complete routine for deriving your own.
The routine
- Read the back of the cap. OEM caps carry a molded part number. That number, searched exactly, is worth more than any chart.
- Measure three things. OD across the face, ID across the tips of the two farthest opposing clips, and clip depth from the base to the clip tips — all in millimetres.
- Count the clips and note the style. Snap-in clips, a spring ring, screws or push-through — the replacement must match the style, not just the size.
- No cap at all? Measure the wheel's center opening directly and shop by clip diameter, per our wheel-opening method.
Why we won't print a number
A wrong printed size costs you a return, a rattle, or a cap on the highway shoulder. A missing size costs you one minute with a caliper. Sister-brand logic (a Chrysler is not automatically a Dodge 63 mm; an Infiniti is not automatically a Nissan) is a starting hypothesis for your search — never a fitment. Measure, and your number outranks every chart on the internet, including ours.
Next steps
Run your numbers through the Cap Finder, or re-check them with the How to Measure walkthrough before you order.
